Running for close to 20 years, the Federation Art Prize has grown to exhibit the work of artists from across Australia. It brings enjoyment and interest to residents and visitors to the wider Corowa Region.
In January this year the exhibition ran for 4 weeks and attracted approximately 700 visitors and the Opening Night more than a hundred guests. 103 artists exhibited, 392 artworks were shown and prize money of $7500.00 was awarded. With new energy, new prize category structures and a new identity, we’re expecting our largest show yet.
Previously held during the Summer holidays, this year will see a move to stage the exhibition for a shorter period, at a different time of the year - October 18th to November 5th. The annual Photography Prize will continue to run over the Easter period.
In parallel with the date change we have revised our award categories to attract young, emerging and established artists.
We look forward to sharing this years entries with you all!
