Running for close to 20 years, the Federation Art Prize has grown to exhibit the work of artists from across Australia. It brings enjoyment and interest to residents and visitors to the wider Corowa Region. 

​

Due to the overwhelming number of entries in past years the prize was separated into the Federation Art Prize and Federation Photography Prize, both run as separate events.

Prize Categories

​

Illustrative Photographer

The Illustrative category aims to recognise photographs taken or produced to illustrate a subject or topic.

 

Landscape Photographer

This category is intended for landscape images that depict the natural or urban environment. 

 

Nature Photographer

Nature photographs may depict wildlife and/or wilderness, both on land and under water. 

 

Portrait Photographer

Portraiture photography is broadly defined and can include family, corporate, travel, creative and interpretive portraits.

 

Pet/Animal Photographer

This category is intended for images of domesticated pets, farm animals and captive/zoo animals.
